Other Ways to Give

Does your office match gifts or have a workplace giving program? Do you know of a community resource that would be a perfect fit for Living Beyond Breast Cancer? Have you ever considered recommending a charity for funding in your community? Do you work with a population who needs access to information or support services?

Every community is unique – both in needs and opportunities. Please share your ideas for partnership or support with Sandy Martin, our director of development and communications, at (484) 708-1543.

Host an Event

Did you know that last year, creative and passionate people throughout the country raised almost $100,000 to support LBBC’s programs? They did this through unique ideas like bridal shower raffles, “survivor” parties, school “jeans day” fundraisers and handmade jewelry sales. What was the key to success? Passion!

If you are passionate about supporting women affected by breast cancer and want to have your own creative fundraiser, go for it! Need help or have questions? Contact our special events manager, Jeanne Marren Egan, at (484) 708-1803.

Volunteer Your Time

Every year, hundreds of supporters help LBBC execute a long list of programs and events. Volunteers can help in a variety of ways, from administrative help in the Haverford office to on-site event support. Check our Get Involved page for details or contact Lisa Black, our helpline and volunteer manager, directly for more information at (484) 708-1545.

Submit a Blog Post

Do you have a special insight on living with or beyond breast cancer? Do you have a story that may serve as inspiration to others?

LBBC posts guest entries on our blog from dozens of women—including those affected by breast cancer, family members and healthcare practitioners—who have a unique and important insight to what breast cancer means. If you are interested in submitting a post, please contact Stacia Weaver at (484) 708-1802. Check out recent submissions here!
