Meet our talented staff dedicated to helping women and families live well beyond breast cancer.
Elyse Spatz Caplan, MA, Director, Programs and Partnerships
Elyse joined LBBC in 2000. She oversees LBBC’s educational programming for breast cancer information and awareness, including large-scale conferences and teleconferences, the Survivors’ Helpline, written and online publications, networking programs and workshops and trainings for healthcare professionals.
Kevin Gianotto, Associate Director, Marketing and Corporate Relations
Kevin Gianotto manages marketing and public relations for Living Beyond Breast Cancer. He promotes the overall message of LBBC as well as development and special event fundraising initiatives. Kevin also oversees corporate partnerships and cause-related marketing campaigns.
Amy B. Grillo, Associate Director, Educational Programs
Amy manages, develops and plans content for Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s educational programs for breast cancer information and awareness, including teleconferences, physical conferences and networking meetings.
Arin Ahlum Hanson, MPH, CHES, Manager, Young Women’s Initiative
Arin manages LBBC's Young Women’s Initiative and oversees the research, evaluation, development and execution of educational programs related to premenopausal women diagnosed with breast cancer.
Jenna Jackson, Development and Communications Coordinator
Jenna provides project management support for Living Beyond Breast Cancer's development and communications activities. She is also responsible for providing support for the identification, response to and management of foundation and corporate grants.
Vicki Klopp, Development Coordinator
Among her many responsibilities at LBBC, Vicki helps track donations, registrations and other fundraising data. She is responsible for thanking supporters, assisting at fundraising meetings and helping answer the phone.
Sandy Martin, Director, Development and Communications
Sandy Martin oversees all fundraising, marketing and public relations activities for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, including planning, direct mail, special events, corporate partnerships and promotions, major gifts, communications, public relations and marketing, memorial and tribute gifts and planned giving.
Jean A. Sachs, MSS, MLSP, Chief Executive Officer
Jean Sachs became Living Beyond Breast Cancer's first executive director (now CEO) in 1996. She has significantly expanded the organization's reach and reputation, increasing its annual budget from $100,000 to more than $3 million, expanding staff from two to 18 and increasing membership from 8,000 to more than 40,000.
Anna Shaffer, Editor and Manager, Web Content
As LBBC’s editor and manager of web content, Anna oversees lbbc.org and a variety of print publications.
Celeste C. Terrinoni, CPA, Director of Finance and Administration
Celeste oversees the coordination and administration of all financial and business-related activities for LBBC, including financial accounting and forecasting, human resources, contractual agreements and facility management.
Christine A. Ware, MEd, Manager, Database Information and Technology
As LBBC's "tech goddess," Christine's job is to oversee the database at LBBC, to make sure the computers are up and running, and to manage the tool we use to send out emails and register people for events.
Janine E. Guglielmino, MA, Director, Publications and Strategic Initiatives
Janine Guglielmino directs Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s print and virtual publications, research and evaluation efforts and strategic planning.
Catherine Creme Henry, Outreach Coordinator
As LBBC’s outreach coordinator, Katie is responsible for coordinating and executing all outreach programs and activities, with a special focus on underserved populations including African-American women, Latinas and young women.
Rhonda Hernandez, Administrative Assistant
As Living Beyond Breast Cancer's administrative assistant, Rhonda is responsible for providing support to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the office’s daily operations. She also helps execute educational programs and volunteer activities in support of LBBC's mission and services.
Rachel Pinkstone-Marx, Marketing and Development Assistant
Rachel's responsibilities at LBBC include writing brochures, calendar listings, press releases, postcards and newsletter stories; handling media inquiries; supporting public relations, development and marketing outreach for programs and events; maintaining and editing blogs for LBBC and Yoga on the Steps; providing LBBC’s social media presence; coordinating with designers and printers and providing administrative support.
Ashley Scioli, Program Coordinator
Ashley is responsible for coordinating and implementing educational programs in support of LBBC's mission and services. She develops and executes logistics associated with conferences, community meetings and teleconferences including speaker, site and resource management and event registration.
